Jaipur: The state govt is gearing up for Rozgar Utsav, with plans to issue appointment letters to the maximum number of eligible candidates while fast-tracking recruitment for over 58,000 govt posts across departments.Reviewing the 2026 recruitment calendar, chief secretary V Srinivas directed officials to expedite pending recruitment processes, including 24,752 safai karmachari, 10,644 junior assistant and clerk grade-II, 6,000 police constable, 3,500 shikshan sahyogi, 3,430 gram vikas adhikari, 3,000 junior technical supervisors (PHED), 2,000 nursing and paramedical staff, 1,548 ayush department posts, 1,100 agriculture supervisors, 1,100 veterinary officers, 1,059 assistant engineers, and 774 junior engineers, besides ensuring that recruitments in the final stage are completed in time for the employment drive.Srinivas said providing timely employment opportunities to the youth was among the state govt’s highest priorities.He instructed officials to quickly dispose of pending cases and expedite document verification, declaration of results and issuance of appointment orders so that eligible candidates could join service without delay. He also stressed the need for effective coordination among Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB), and the concerned departments to ensure recruitments are completed on schedule.
