Patna: The students and faculty members of Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University (RPCAU) on Friday celebrated 100% campus placement of MBA (agribusiness) and MBA (rural management) students of the 2024-26 session.Speaking as the chief guest on the occasion, RPCAU’s chancellor P L Gautam congratulated the students and faculty and said the university has achieved 100% placement for four consecutive years. He described it as a record not only for Bihar but also for the country.The chancellor further said that the university is also showing a new path to the nation in the field of digital agriculture. Researches undertaken in AI and robotics are likely to bring out revolutionary changes in Indian agriculture, he added.RPCAU’s vice-chancellor P S Pandey, in his presidential address, said the university focuses on building students’ futures and preparing them in line with national and industry requirements.Pandey expressed the hope that the students from agribusiness and rural management will now take the country’s agri-economy to new heights.Director of management programmes Ram Dutt said all students of the current batch have been placed in leading agri-companies, banks, FPOs, agri-tech startups and government institutions. It reflects the quality of training and industry linkages we have built over the last few years, he said.
