Ahmedabad: Swift action by AMC staff helped a bus passenger recover her lost purse on Tuesday after officials traced it to an E-0 bus during a route inspection in Naranpura.The passenger informed officials that her purse had been stolen while travelling on an E-0 bus. Acting on the complaint, officials immediately contacted the security guard on duty at Akhbarnagar and asked him to stop the bus.After the bus was halted, officials reached the spot and conducted a thorough search. The passenger’s purse was found inside the bus and was returned to her after verification of her identity and ownership.The passenger thanked the officials for their prompt response. AMC said the recovery was made possible due to the alertness and coordinated efforts of its staff on duty.
