In a post on X, Rijiju said the government had taken “historic decisions” under Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the future of students after “listening to the voice of the young generation.”

“After listening to the voice of the young generation and the historic decisions taken by Prime Minister Modi for the future of students, I appeal to all the MPs to participate in tomorrow’s The Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill,” Rijiju said.
The Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, proposes significantly tighter penalties for examination authorities, service providers and institutions involved in paper leaks and organised examination fraud.
