Hyderabad: Telangana BJP president N Ramchander Rao on Thursday accused chief minister A Revanth Reddy of jeopardising the future of over 20 lakh SC, ST, BC and EBC students by allegedly failing to clear pending fee reimbursement dues. In a post on X, Rao claimed colleges were withholding students’ certificates due to non-payment of fees, preventing them from pursuing higher education or jobs. He questioned when the CM would “resign” over the issue, calling it a failure of the govt.Later in the day, Rao urged the Congress govt to strictly implement the Anti-Cow Slaughter Act in Telangana and appealed to all sections of society to help prevent cow slaughter. Speaking after visiting Sri Hanuman Goshala at Bairamalguda in LB Nagar, he said the cow occupies a revered place in Sanatan Dharma and highlighted its contribution through milk, dairy products and natural fertilisers. He said protecting cows was a collective responsibility and called for strict enforcement of the law.
