Jaipur: Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) Tuesday sealed four establishments, including a hotel, two coaching institutes and a library, for failing to comply with fire safety norms despite being served notices earlier.The fire department sealed Hotel Karma in Heerapura, Prayas coaching and Chinmay coaching near Ridhi Sidhi Circle on Gopalpura Bypass, and Janpath Library in Jhotwara. The establishments will remain sealed for 180 days or until further orders.Chief fire officer Gautam Lal said the owners were directed to install the required fire safety measures and obtain a fire no objection certificate, but failed to comply within the stipulated time.During inspections, officials found inadequate fire safety arrangements, posing a potential risk to visitors, staff and property. JMC said the action was taken to ensure public safety and prevent any untoward incidents.
