T’puram: Police suspect that the four men accused of abducting and brutally assaulting a father and son over a marriage dispute have fled to Tamil Nadu and intensified the search by issuing a lookout notice carrying their photographs.The lookout notice names the accused as Sudheesh, Aromal, Lal Krishna and Arun. According to police, CCTV footage collected during the probe, showed the accused abandoning a motorcycle at Adayamon before boarding a bus, leading investigators to suspect that they may have crossed the state border into TN.The case relates to the alleged abduction and assault of Anil Kumar (51) and his son Achu (21) of Kilimanoor. Police said the attack was triggered after Kumar allegedly refused to allow his daughter to marry one of the accused.According to police, Kumar was allegedly lured to an unfinished building at Vellalloor on the pretext of discussing a work-related matter. He was allegedly tied up, gagged and physically assaulted. His son was later brought to the same location, chained to a pillar and allegedly subjected to a similar assault. The accused also allegedly threatened the victims with explosives and warned them of further consequences.Efforts are on to trace and arrest the accused, police said.
