Jaipur: A 20-year-old gym trainer was allegedly found hanging in his rented room in Jaipur’s C-Scheme area Friday. Police said no suicide note was recovered from the room and are investigating the circumstances leading to the death.The deceased was identified as Harshit Parmar, a native of Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh. He was living with a roommate in rented accommodation on Ramesh Marg under Ashok Nagar police station limits and worked as a gym trainer.According to police, Harshit collected his dinner tiffin from the landlord around 10 pm Thursday before returning to his room. His roommate left for Ajmer the same night. Investigators suspect Harshit died by suicide later that night after hanging himself with a scarf.When the roommate returned at 10 am Friday, he found the room locked from the inside. After repeated knocks and phone calls went unanswered, he, along with the landlord and neighbours, broke open the door and found Harshit hanging.Ashok Nagar police, assisted by a Forensic Science Laboratory team, reached the spot and the body was shifted to SMS Hospital for post-mortem examination.
