Prayagraj: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj, has completed the document verification process for candidates shortlisted in the Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) recruitment, paving way for declaration of the final result in the next few days. The verification exercise, which began on July 9, concluded on Friday, marking the completion of all stages of the recruitment process for 3,539 teaching posts in aided secondary schools across the state.According to the commission, 7,359 candidates were called for document verification over seven days, of whom 7,146 appeared while 213 remained absent. With the completion of document scrutiny, the commission is now set to prepare and announce the final selection list.The TGT recruitment process, initiated in 2022, is one of the major teacher recruitment drives for non-govt aided secondary schools in Uttar Pradesh. Hindi and English account for the highest number of vacancies, with 557 posts each, followed by Science (540) and Mathematics (533).The verification schedule covered candidates from all subjects. With all recruitment formalities now over, candidates are eagerly awaiting the declaration of the final merit list.
