Lucknow: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) will hold a SIDBI Fund of Funds Incubator special session on start-up funding opportunities for teachers and students on Saturday.The event aims to familiarise student start-ups and incubators with funding avenues under the Uttar Pradesh govt’s Rs 1,000 crore UP Fund of Funds.Representatives of the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) will lead a segment titled, ‘How to Make a Start-up Investable’, highlighting business models, revenue strategies and financial planning needed to attract investors.Participation is expected from two incubation coordinators and two innovators or start-up founders from each affiliated institution.Experts from the UP govt, SIDBI and various Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) will outline investment options, eligibility norms, application procedures and steps to secure financial assistance. The session will also cover preparing proposals, selecting suitable AIFs and building investor connections.
