Surat: A 22-year-old delivery boy named Vicky Tayde, employed in Amazon courier company, was killed near his home in Ashok Samrat Nagar of Udhna on Saturday night. Accused Javed Salim Shah lived in the same locality. Tayde was killed a few months after his father Dhanraj’s murder in 2025 by Shah’s friend Dipak and his friends who are currently in jail. Tayde had gone to Shah’s house to tell him not to help Dipak as he doubted that Shah was providing financial assistance, to help Dipak leave jail.Tayde and Shah quarrelled at Shah’s home, with Tayde even allegedly stabbing Shah. In retaliation, Shah also stabbed Tayde resulting in his death. Udhna police have begun investigation after registering a case of murder.“We have recovered one sharp-edged weapon near Shah’s house. After the incident, Shah was shifted to the hospital, where he is currently unconscious. We will take his statement once he recovers and file a case against Tayde if he is found guilty,” said Udhna police inspector RM Thakor.3 arrested in Dindoli murder caseDindoli police have arrested three accused in the murder of 20-year-old youth Raj Ajay Dubey. He was killed on the first floor of Raj Mahel Mall on Saturday. Police arrested the accused Jayesh Vaishnav (20), Hitesh Katiyare (19) and Prashant Sinde (19) within a few hours of the murder. Primary investigation revealed that the accused were friends of Dubey. The accused ordered a knife online to kill Dubey due to arguments over financial issues.
