Nagpur: The Crime Branch, police station teams of Khaparkheda and Koradi, raided an illegal hookah parlour running at a hotel in Dahegaon, leading to the arrest of the hotel manager.Acting on a tip-off, ACP Shivprasad Parwe formed two teams under the Special Operation and Action (SPOA) unit. The raid was conducted between 11pm on July 9 and 5am on July 10.A case was registered at Khaparkheda police station. Police said the accused, Sohail Kamaruddin Ansari, 26, a resident of Saoner, was caught supplying tobacco products to 19 customers. The accused was running the hookah parlour without any licence, said police.Hookah pots, tobacco of various flavours, and other related items worth Rs38,000 were seized. The accused and seized material were handed over to Khaparkheda police.
