Indian recurve archers had a disappointing day as the country’s men and women teams lost their respective quarterfinal matches to the U.S. at the Archery World Cup Stage-4 in Madrid on Thursday.
The men’s team suffered a 0-6 defeat, while the women’s side lost 2-6.
Asian champion and Stage-3 gold medallist B. Dhiraj scored his season best performance (691) to finish second among men in the individual qualification round on Wednesday. Kirti shot her career best score (668) to take the fourth place among women.
