Gandhinagar: Chief minister Bhupendra Patel on Sunday inaugurated `Shanti Navas’ and laid the foundation stone of Vallabh Vidyavihar, a school to be constructed at Pansar in Kalol taluka by Vicharta Samuday Samarthan Manch (VSSM) and K R Shroff Foundation.Speaking at the event, Patel said that ensuring the all-round development of nomadic and denotified communities is a noble mission. He added that dream of a developed India through a developed Gujarat will be fulfilled only when the most deprived people at the margins are brought into the mainstream of development.State BJP president Jagdish Vishwakarma said VSSM has been doing exemplary work for homeless nomadic and denotified families struggling to educate their children.VSSM founder Mittal Patel said with the cooperation of the entire administrative machinery, many initiatives for the welfare of nomadic communities are being carried out. She said that what began around 20 years ago as a tent school has now grown into an educational complex.
