Prayagraj: Nawabganj police on Friday arrested two members of an inter-district gang involved in cloning of debit cards and cheating gullible ATM card holders in trans-Ganga area.Police also recovered Rs 8,000 cash and 29 ATM cards from their possession. The arrested persons, identified as Aditya Yadav alias Chotu (22) and Ravi Patel (22), are residents of Pratapgarh.Police said that Aditya Yadav was the kingpin of the racket, while Ravi Patel was an active member. As many as nine criminal cases are pending against Aditya Yadav.The gang used to target gullible people who had no idea of withdrawing money through ATMs. The duo fraudsters were active outside ATMs and target elderly or people with rural background on the pretext of help.
