Chennai: PMK president Anbumani Ramadoss in a post on X on Monday, said even as the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) has failed to clarify prior allegations of grading manipulation, the emergence of colour-coded highlights on specific candidates’ score sheets has sparked severe distress among aspirants. He criticised the TRB, saying it irresponsibly handled an evaluation process that shapes the futures of tens of thousands of candidates. The controversy stems from the newly published list for the English assistant professor discipline. In several rows, the marks of specific candidates were found distinctly highlighted in blue and yellow markers. Aspirants have raised allegations that these specific colour indicators point to manual interventions in which scores were modified, either favourably or adversely, for select candidates.Anbumani said the TRB has a duty to address and dispel these growing suspicions to restore credibility to the examination process.
