Nagpur: A 36-year-old porter and driver was murdered by an unidentified person behind a tea shop on Hingna Road under MIDC police station limits. He was attacked with a wooden block and a brick on his head and forehead.The incident allegedly occurred between 7pm on June 27 and 7am on June 28, MIDC police said, who have launched a search for the unidentified accused.The victim, Jitendra alias Pappu Tandekar, a resident of Devangan in Chhattisgarh, stayed at Amar Nagar on Hingna Road. His elder brother, Dinesh, lodged a complaint with police. A case was registered against the unidentified assailant. The body was sent to AIIMS for autopsy. TNN
