Chatra: At least six people were injured after a dispute over coal dumping at Dwari Bazaar Tand in the district turned violent onS aturday, causing tension and a road blockade. Local sources said an argument between two groups escalated into attacks with sticks and wooden rods. After the clash, members of one group blocked traffic near Indira Mor on the Hazaribag-Chatra main road, demanding immediate arrest of those involved and permission to collect coal that had fallen during the incident. Long queues of vehicles formed on both sides, and traffic was stopped till the filing of this report.Circle officer Anant Shayanam Vishwakarma, Sadar SDPO Sunny Vardhan and OC of Gidhaur police station Purushottam Agnihotri reached the spot. Agnihotri said investigation was underway and additional police forces were deployed.
