Patna: The East Central Railway (ECR) will operate 13 special trains on Sunday to help candidates appearing for the Bihar Police recruitment examination reach their centres on time.Danapur senior divisional commercial manager Abhinav Siddarth said seven special trains would run under the Danapur division on the Bakhtiyarpur-Rajgir, Kiul-Gaya, Rajgir-Bakhtiyarpur, Nawada-Jhajha, Buxar-Danapur, Jhajha-Patna and Gaya-Kiul routes to handle the expected rush.The Samastipur division will operate six special trains connecting Madhubani, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Bapudham Motihari, Purnia Court and Supaul with Patliputra Junction.Samastipur PRO R K Singh said the services were expected to ease travel to Patna and nearby examination centres.The ECR had also operated six special trains on Saturday under the Danapur division on the Patliputra-Saharsa, Patna-Bhabua, Patliputra-Bettiah, Patliputra-Purnia Court, Danapur-Araria and Patna-Siwan routes to facilitate candidates.Railways have advised candidates to reach stations well in advance and follow travel guidelines to ensure smooth boarding and orderly journeys.
