Chennai: Tiruvallur police on Friday arrested the labour contractor accused of recruiting minor workers with forged identity documents for the seafood processing factory where an ammonia gas leak killed 14 workers earlier this week. A total of four people have been arrested in the case so far. The arrested man, identified as Suresh, recruited guest workers for the company. Police sources said the agent brought minors from villages in other states and forged their identities to show them as adults. The other three arrested are factory owners M Joseph Jegan, 49, of Royapuram and M Mohan, 59, of Tondiarpet, and factory manager R Daniel, 70.
