GitLab Inc. on Wednesday said that its Chief Legal Officer, Head of Corporate Affairs, and Corporate Secretary, Robin J. Schulman, will resign from her roles effective June 30, 2026.
In a regulatory disclosure, the company said Schulman tendered her resignation on June 18, 2026, adding that her decision was not due to any disagreement with GitLab on matters relating to its operations, policies, or practices.
“On June 18, 2026, Robin Schulman, notified GitLab Inc. (the “Company“) of her decision to resign as Chief Legal Officer, Head of Corporate Affairs, and Corporate Secretary of the Company effective June 30, 2026. Ms. Schulman’s resignation was not a result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices,” GitLab said in its exchange filing.
Schulman has been with GitLab since December 2019, serving as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary, and overseeing global corporate affairs. She also served as Acting Chief Information Security Officer between September 2022 and June 2023.
Before joining GitLab, Schulman was Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary at Couchbase, Inc. from February 2018 to November 2019.
Earlier, she served as General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Compliance Officer at New Relic, Inc. between December 2013 and February 2018.
Her previous stints include serving as legal counsel at Adobe Systems Incorporated from 2010 to 2013 and as an associate at Fenwick & West LLP from 2006 to 2010.
Since 2021, Schulman has also been a board member of a private biotech company. Schulman holds a B.F.A. in Dramatic Writing and Film from New York University and a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University School of Law.
