T’puram: Heritage Conclave for students from Classes VIII to XII will be held in the city on July 6. The conclave will be hosted at KTDC Tourism Convention Centre, Veli. Special sessions will focus on educational and career opportunities in the heritage sector, importance of heritage conservation and higher education prospects. Students will also get to interact directly with faculty members and experts from leading universities across the country. Students will be selected for the conclave through Heritage Olympiad, which will be conducted at the school level. Those who perform exceptionally well in the examination conducted in participating schools will be invited to attend the conclave. The event is being jointly organized by the Russian embassy and Knowledge Walk, a New Delhi-based organization. Selected students from the conclave will also receive a unique opportunity to participate in Bharat Darshan Educational Tour in Delhi, organized under the leadership of the Russian embassy and Knowledge Walk. In addition, participants will be eligible for cash prizes and certificates from various national institutions.
