Kanpur: Seven watchmen posted at Sadh police station have complained against the officer in-charge, Krishna Kumar Mishra, alleging that he forced them to provide oil massages at his residence.The aggrieved watchmen submitted a written complaint at the offices of the police commissioner and the district magistrate on Tuesday.They alleged that the officer calls them to his residence and asks them to massage his body and feet.They also said that he forces them to wash utensils and clothes, and to sweep and mop his residence. When they refuse, they are subjected to verbal abuse.They further alleged that the police station in-charge threatens to have them jailed by implicating them in false cases.Krishna Kumar Mishra, however has denied the allegations. He said there had been a dispute with the munshi regarding the deployment of the watchmen on duty.ACP Krishnakant Yadav said an investigation into the allegations will be conducted and appropriate action will be taken if the claims are substantiated.
