Lucknow: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath held Janata Darshan at his Lucknow residence on Monday morning, where he received several complaints related to encroachments and directed officials to take strict action in such cases.Among the several complaints he received, one was from an elderly man from Mathura, who informed the CM that a village pathway had been encroached upon. He said that complaints had already been made at the local level, but no action was taken.The CM directed the district magistrate to personally visit the site and assess the situation, stating that if an encroachment was found, it should be removed immediately and action should be taken against the guilty.“Encroachment would not be tolerated under any circumstances,” the CM said, directing administration, police, municipal corporations, development authorities and other responsible institutions to regularly monitor such issues.The CM also received applications related to education, healthcare, financial assistance, electricity, police and revenue matters. He assured all complainants that the govt would take care of every basic requirement related to public welfare.A govt spokesperson said that the CM also enquired about the well-being of complainants who came in the intense heat. He advised elderly people, women and children to step out during the afternoon in this weather only if absolutely necessary.
