Kolkata: A 75-year-old woman has lodged a police complaint against her tenant, alleging illegal occupation of her Garfa Main Road property for 21 years, criminal intimidation and abuse.Protima Bhowmik alleged that Gopal Gayen entered the premises in 2005 under a six-month tenancy agreement but never vacated. The complaint also names former councillor Tarakeshwar Chakraborty, for alleged criminal intimidation and colluding with the accused under political influence. Bhowmik has sought police protection.
