Trilegal advised Skyroot Aerospace Private Limited on its INR 567.93 crore fund-raise co-led by Sherpalo and GIC, with participation from Funds managed by BlackRock, the founders of Greenko Group, Arkam Ventures, Playbook Partners and Shanghvi Family Office. Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised an entity of the founders of the Greenko Group and Talwar Thakore & Associates advised BlackRock and Playbook India Fund II (Scheme of Playbook Partners India) on this transaction.
The round values the company at around USD 1.1 billion, conferring unicorn status and making Skyroot, India’s first space-tech unicorn.
