The India Meteorological Department has warned that heatwave conditions are very likely to prevail at isolated places in Adilabad, Komuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Karimnagar and Peddapalli districts over the next 24 hours. However, the weather is expected to remain highly contrasting across the state, with heavy rainfall likely at isolated places in Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Mahabubnagar and Nagarkurnool districts, while thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 40–50 kmph are expected across Hyderabad and several other districts, indicating unstable monsoon conditions despite the ongoing heatwave.
