Ranchi: Jharkhand high court today on Thursday directed the railways to furnish a no objection certificate (NOC) for completion of a road project in the vicinity of Jonha Falls on the outskirts of Ranchi. The HC had initiated a PIL suo motu for the construction of a road Masrijara village to Hesalbeda village in Angara block following newspaper reports that the villagers face difficulties in daily lives and in accessing healthcare facilities.The road to be constructed passes around the railway lines for which a NOC is required from the railways to initiate construction of the road. The case will again be heard on July 9.The state govt today furnished a copy of the case diary and forensic report of examination done on slain gangster Aman Sao to the HC in a sealed cover. Sao’s mother Kiran Devi had filed a plea seeking CBI probe. The case will be heard after three weeks. Sao was killed in an encounter on March 11, 2025.
