Labrum Wins the BFC/GQ Designer Fashion Fund
The British Fashion Council (BFC) has named Labrum as the winner of the BFC/GQ Designer Fashion Fund 2026. Labrum, a menswear brand founded by Fonday Dumbuya in 2014, will receive a £100,000 grant prize, a year-long mentorship, pro-bono legal services from law firm Sheridans and access to a network of specialist advisors tailored to its business needs. “As a brand built on the stories of migration, identity and cultural exchange, this recognition is a reminder that those stories matter,” Dumbuya said in a statement. {Fashionista inbox}
L’Oréal Collaborates With “Elle” Series

L’Oréal Paris is collaborating with Prime Video’s “Legally Blonde” prequel series, “Elle,” as its official makeup sponsor. Popular L’Oréal products from 1995 like Voluminous Mascara, Colour Riche Lipstick and True Match Foundation are seen throughout the series. Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Fendi Couture Debut Set for Rome
Maria Grazia Chiuri‘s first Fendi couture show will be revealed at the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Rome on the evening of July 9. Guests will be invited to a private view of the exhibition “After un Percorso di Lavoro. Fendi/Karl Lagerfeld 1985. Frasers Offers To Buy the Rest of Hugo Boss in $2.3 Billion Deal
Billionaire Mike Ashley’s Frasers Group Plc offered to buy the rest of Hugo Boss AG for about €2 billion ($2.3 billion). Hugo Boss said it will “thoroughly examine” the unsolicited offer from Frasers, who already owns a roughly 26% stake in Hugo Boss. Stitch Fix Reports 4.7% Sales Bump in Q3 2026
On Wednesday, online personal styling service Stitch Fix shared its Q3 2026 earnings, which showed a 4.7% year-over-year increase in net revenue to $340.3 million. The platform boasts 2.309 million active clients, marking an increase of 0.9% quarter-over-quarter and a decrease of 1.9% year-over-year. Estée Lauder Forms North America Fragrance Cluster
The Estée Lauder Cos. is forming a North America Fragrance Cluster. The conglomerate hired Vérane de Marffy as senior vice president, general manager of fragrances, North America to oversee the region’s fragrance cluster. De Marffy will directly manage the Kilian Paris and Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle businesses in the region, while also overseeing Jo Malone London, Tom Ford Beauty and Balmain Beauty. {WWD/paywalled}
