Jaipur: The two-day Shaheed Major Sankalp Memorial Basketball tournament, organised under the banner of DMR Khel Mahakumbh-3, concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation from players across Rajasthan. More than 80 teams competed in the Under-12, Under-14, Under-17, Under-21, and Senior categories, showcasing remarkable talent and sportsmanship.The annual tournament was inaugurated by MLA Prashant Sharma. Exciting matches were witnessed throughout the event across all categories. In the Under-12 category, Team Achievers delivered an outstanding performance and clinched the gold medal.In the Under-14 Boys category, Jhunjhar Club, Jhunjhunu emerged as champions, while Gladiators Team finished as runners-up. In the Under-14 Girls category, SHS Club secured the championship title. In the Under-17 Boys category, Team Luminous claimed first place, with SHS Team finishing as runners-up. The Senior category title was won by Team DMR.A special highlight of the tournament was the participation of teams from various districts including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Jhunjhunu, and Sriganganagar, giving the event a state-level stature and recognition.During the closing ceremony, Mohit Yadav, Convenor of the RCA Ad Hoc Committee, honoured the winners and runners-up with trophies, mementos, and cash prizes. All distinguished guests were welcomed by Dinesh Kumar Yadav, Director of DMR Sports Academy, with traditional safas and mementos.The successful organization of the tournament was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Vikas Choudhary, Amarjeet Saini, Dharampal Yadav, Naman Mishra, Shipra Yadav, Babulal Yadav (Retd.
