Ahmedabad: The city saw partial cloudy weather but the temperatures remained up at 41.5°C, the maximum temperature was 0.6 degree higher than normal and was the highest among the state cities and towns on Saturday. According to India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, the maximum temperature on Sunday is likely to be in the same range.At 29.6°C, the minimum temperature was 0.1 degree higher than normal. The relative humidity (RH) was 63% and 32% at 8.30am and 5.30pm respectively.The IMD forecast indicated no large change in maximum temperature for the next seven days as some parts of the state are likely to receive light showers. IMD forecast indicated favourable conditions for progress of southwest monsoon in parts of Maharashtra and Karnataka among others.Some other cities and towns with more than 40 degrees celsius temperature included Gandhinagar (41.3°C), Surendranagar (41.3°C), Rajkot (41°C), and Amreli (40.7°C) among others.
