Kanpur: Kreeda Bharti Kanpur division has made an appeal to the citizens to join the cycle campaign being organized in the city on Sunday, June 7.On the occasion of World Cycle Day, which was celebrated on June 3, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called the countrymen to pedal to save petrol and diesel as bicycle is an affordable, reliable and sustainable means of transportation.The theme for World Cycle Day was “Cycligg for a Greener future”, highlighting the bicycle’s role in reducing the carbon emissions and combating climate change.Neetu Katiyar, division secretary, Kreeda Bharti, asked the citizens to get themselves registered on http://fitindia-gov-in/world&bicycle&day.reach at Green Park along with their cycle on June 7 at 6am.
