Patrick Ta recently released the Liquid Transition Brightening Blush ($34), the Transition Blurring Blush Duo ($30) and the Dual-Ended Transition Blush Brush ($40), which quickly faced online backlash. Consumers argued these are unnecessary products and that he was taking credit for a look popularized by makeup artist Ngozi Esther Edeme (a.k.a. @paintedbyesther). Signet Jewelers Acquires The Clear Cut
Signet Jewelers is acquiring The Clear Cut in a move to strengthen the luxury positioning at its Blue Nile brand. The Clear Cut is a small, New York-based natural diamond jewelry brand known for its bespoke bridal and fine jewelry. The Clear Cut will be integrated into Blue Nile, which is one of Signet’s core brands along with Zales, Kay and Jared. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. {WWD/paywalled}
Condé Nast Reaches $400,000 Settlement With Fired Employees Who Confronted Boss Over Layoffs
Last fall, four Condé Nast employees were fired after confronting Chief People Officer Stan Duncan about layoffs at the company. Now, Condé Nast has agreed to a $400,000-plus settlement with three out of four of the former employees. As part of the settlement, the three fired workers were reinstated so that they could resign and be given letters of recommendation. Their disciplinary records were also expunged. {WWD/paywalled}
Salomon Taps Jisoo as Global Ambassador

Salomon has named Jisoo as its newest global ambassador. Future creative projects and collaborations with the South Korean singer will be revealed over time. “Jisoo represents a generation embracing openness, curiosity and fluidity between sport and fashion,” Kristof Cavazzana, Salomon’s global VP product & experience, said in a statement. “Her perspective and global influence resonate with how Salomon continues to evolve today, bringing mountain heritage, outdoor lifestyle and style into broader cultural conversations.” {Fashionista inbox}
Faith Xue Promoted to EVP at Gallery Media Group
Coveteur Editor-in-Chief Faith Xue has been promoted to EVP at Gallery Media Group (GMG). While maintaining her role as Coveteur’s editor-in-chief, Xue will oversee brand vision and cultural strategy across GMG, which includes Coveteur, PureWow and @Cocktails. Lanvin Names New CEO

Lanvin has appointed Barbara Werschine as CEO. Werschine will steer the brand’s global strategy, accelerate its development and strengthen Lanvin’s positioning on the international stage.
