Prayagraj: Prof Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) University has introduced a Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to 11 postgraduate courses, enabling students to seek admission to multiple programmes through a single examination. Through CET, candidates can apply for courses including LLM, MBA, MBA in Public Policy and Governance, MCA and several MSc programmes under the Faculty of Agriculture. The agriculture courses include Horticulture, Agronomy, Soil Science, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Seed Science and Technology, Fruit Science and Vegetable Science.Applications for admission in the new academic session have already begun and the last date to apply is June 30. University officials said the entrance examination will be completely objective in nature. The duration of the test will be two hours and candidates will have to answer questions carrying a total of 100 marks.The question paper will be divided into five sections carrying 20 marks each. Questions will be asked from english language comprehension, mathematics, general awareness, data interpretation and reasoning, and subject-specific knowledge. The english section will include grammar, vocabulary and comprehension-based questions, while the mathematics section will focus on percentages, ratios, averages and basic calculations. General awareness will cover current affairs, history, politics and science-related topics.
