Patna: The state govt on Friday reshuffled 10 IAS officials, including three in the rank of additional chief secretary (ACS). Besides this, governor’s secretary Gopal Meena was relieved of his posting following his move to the Union commercial taxes department on central deputation.Director general-cum-chief inquiry officer in the general administration department (GAD) Deepak Kumar Singh has been posted as principal secretary to the governor. He will continue to hold his earlier post as an additional charge.Meena, who has moved to Delhi on central deputation, has been appointed development commissioner in the rank of joint secretary of the Noida special economic zone under the Union commercial taxes department.Additional chief secretary of the home department Arvind Kumar Choudhary has been transferred to the cabinet secretariat department in the same capacity. He will also continue to hold the additional charge of examination controller in the Bihar combined entrance competitive examination board, besides serving as chairman of the Bihar staff selection commission.The 1995-batch IAS officer B Rajender, who is ACS in the general administration department, has also been given the additional charge of the vigilance department in the same rank. He already holds additional responsibilities relating to public grievances, mission director in the administrative reforms mission society and director general of the Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (Bipard).Industries department secretary Kundan Kumar has also been given the additional charge of the home department, while finance department secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh has been relieved of the additional charge of inquiry commissioner in the GAD.Bihar human rights commission secretary Seema Tripathi has been given the additional charge of secretary in the revenue and land reforms department.Meanwhile, special secretary in the civil aviation department Nilesh Ramchandra Deware has been assigned the additional charge of managing director of the Bihar State Housing Board.Managing director of the State Educational Infrastructure Development Corporation Inayat Khan will also hold the additional charge of special secretary in the revenue and land reforms department.Special secretary in the cabinet secretariat department Arvind Kumar Verma has been given the additional charge of special secretary in the industries department, while managing director of the Bihar State Housing Board Rajeev Kumar has been transferred and posted as additional secretary in the finance department.
