Ranchi: A local court on Thursday convicted former principal of a private English-medium school in the May 2022 sexual assault case of the school nurse.The court would decide the quantum of his sentencing on Friday.In her complaint registered with police on May 24, 2022, the woman had alleged that the principal used to call her to his chamber on the pretext of measuring blood pressure and indulge in obscene behaviour. The accused was arrested from Telco in Jamshedpur, where he was hiding in the house of his relative’s friend, on May 29, 2022. He was sent to jail on May 30, 2022.
