Gandhinagar: The state cabinet on Wednesday decided to draw up a comprehensive plan of road widening projects where forest land will be required. Spokesperson Jitu Vaghani said the forest department will be provided land parcels of non-forest land in instances where forest land is diverted for road widening purposes.Cabinet approves `Atalwadi’ scheme: The state cabinet on Wednesday approved the `Atalwadi’ scheme where infrastructure will be set up for social or public functions that can accommodate up to 500 persons.
