Times News NetworkKanpur: Around 5,500 people gathered at Brijendra Swaroop Park on Tuesday morning to participate in a unique health camp that combined yogic exercises with a fresh approach towards healthy living and diet habits. The camp was inaugurated by Maa Maitreyee, while Maa Gargi, Shunya Ji, Janak Anand, Kailash and Janki guided the participants through various yogic exercises. Men and women enthusiastically performed the exercises and expressed happiness over the positive effects they experienced during the session. One of the major attractions of the programme was the concept of an “invisible breakfast”. Before taking breakfast, participants offered prayers to the Sun god and recited a food mantra.Explaining the concept, organiser Lalit Agarwal told TOI that the “invisible breakfast” referred to the invisible health benefits derived from natural food items. The breakfast included nuts, dry fruits, raw vegetables and seeds such as chia, sunflower and flax seeds, all soaked in water. Participants also consumed the soaked water along with the food, which, according to the organisers, has a direct positive impact on the human body.
