CMS INDUSLAW has promoted four lawyers to equity partnership and elevated one to partner, alongside a broader round of internal promotions across offices.
The firm has elevated Aakash Dasgupta, Ashutosh Narang, Revathy Muralidharan, and Shreya Suri as equity partners. Anupam Choudhary has been promoted to partner.
Dasgupta, based in Mumbai, focuses on M&A and private equity, advising on investments, exit transactions, and complex corporate matters. Narang, also in Mumbai, specialises in banking and finance and capital markets, with experience in cross-border financing, debt capital markets, and restructuring. Muralidharan, part of the firm’s M&A and private equity practice in Mumbai, advises on corporate transactions, restructuring, and employment and compliance matters.
Suri, based in Delhi-NCR, is part of the firm’s technology, media and communications (TMC) and data privacy practice, advising on regulatory issues across fintech, digital platforms, data protection, gaming, telecom, and public procurement.
Choudhary, who has been elevated to partner in Delhi-NCR, focuses on corporate and M&A, including inbound and outbound transactions, corporate restructuring, and regulatory matters, with particular expertise in public M&A and the insurance and reinsurance sectors.
In addition to partner-level elevations, the firm announced promotions across counsel, principal associate, and senior associate levels.
At the counsel level, promotions include Rajat Jain and Ruchi Goel in Bengaluru, T S Thevaraj in Chennai, and Anirban Sen and Gaurav Goyal in Mumbai.
Principal associate promotions span Surbhi Joshi and Vegadarshi K in Bengaluru; Aditya Kumar and Anjanesh Vatsa in Delhi-NCR; and Anurag Prasad and Shambhavi Kumar in Mumbai.
Senior associate elevations include multiple lawyers across Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi-NCR, and Mumbai, covering practices such as M&A, dispute resolution, infrastructure, real estate, capital markets, and TMC.
Separately, Adarsh Joshi in Bengaluru has been promoted to Assistant Manager in the corporate secretarial team.
