Chandigarh: The Chandigarh administration has notified the Chandigarh Legal Metrology (Enforcement) (Amendment) Rules, 2026. According to the amended rules, licences to be issued to manufacturers and dealers of weights and measures under the Act and Rules shall henceforth be issued on self-declaration basis, without the need for physical inspection of the premises. All licences issued under the Act shall be auto-renewed subject to payment of fee and online submission of periodic returns.MSID:: 130965037 413 |
