Churachandpur: The Kuki Women Organisation for Human Rights (KWOHR) and the Kuki Women Union (KWU) on Wednesday organised a “Mass Rally for Justice, Truth, and Accountability” across four districts — Churachandpur, Kangpokpi, Chandel, and Tengnoupal — protesting the April 24 attacks on Mulam and Songphel villages. The rally began around noon from Koite playground and proceeded towards the Wall of Remembrance.A memorandum was submitted to the PM through the DC of Churachandpur, demanding urgent judicial intervention in the N Biren Singh audio tape case and immediate action against the alleged attacks on Mulam and Songphel Kuki villages.
