Patna: Four senior police officers were promoted to the rank of additional superintendent of police (ASP). The notification was issued by the general administration department (GAD) in this regard on Saturday. The promoted officers will receive the salary and benefits of the ASP rank from the date of assuming the new position.The promoted officers include Krishna Murari Prasad, SDPO (law and order), and DSPs Sanjeet Kumar Prabhat, Rajkumar Shah, and Sumit Kumar. Krishna Murari Prasad, a 2013-batch officer, served as SDPO (law and order) in Patna for the past two years. He was previously posted in Nalanda.
Additionally, the Patna SSP transferred four police officers in the district. Sadanand Shah, SHO of Fatuha, was transferred to Police Lines. Kumar Roushan was appointed as the new SHO of Fatuha. Kamlesh Raj was appointed as the SHO of Sultanganj police station, and Ravi Kant was appointed as the ToP In-charge of Gulzar Bagh.
