Jalpaiguri: RPF Jalpaiguri apprehended 14 Bangladesh nationals, including four minors, from Delhi-bound Northeast Express at Jalpaiguri Road station on Wednesday night.The Bangladeshis were carrying fake Aadhaar cards. Some mobile phones were also recovered. One of them had a Bangladeshi SIM card.RPF officials said these people were from Barabadura village under Morelganj PS in Bagerhat district of Bangladesh. They had likely entered India through the porous Indo-Bangladesh border in Tripura and had boarded the train at Assam’s Kamakhya intending to go to Delhi where the men worked as daily wagers and the women as domestic helps. Investigation is on to see how and from where the apprehended 14 Bangladeshis acquired Aadhaar cards, an officer said.
