Hyderabad: Four employees suffered injuries after an idli making steamer exploded in the kitchen of Chutneys restaurant at LB Nagar near Ranga Reddy district court at Friday noon. While three persons received burn injuries, the fourth staffer suffered a head injury after the lid of the equipment fell on him, police said.LB Nagar sub-inspector M Mallaiah said the steamer operator had turned the machine on and went to the washroom. As the steamer was not turned off in given time, it lead to overheating and the explosion. The injured persons were identified as Jogeshwar (20), Daya (23), Sumit (21), and Sunil (21), all from Chhattisgarh. The burns they suffered ranged from 15% to 30%. A case of negligence was registered by the police.
