Hyderabad: A 28-year-old constable died by suicide at her residence in Sai Baba Nagar, Vikarabad Town, on Saturday morning.Local police stated that Divya, a 2020-batch constable, was found dead by her family members inside a room. Although she left a suicide note, police are yet to ascertain the exact cause of her death.Divya was keen on marrying a constable from her batch and he was due to visit her sister’s house in two days time to discuss about their marriage.However, on Saturday morning, she took the extreme step, leaving a note declaring that no one was responsible for her death. Police are investigating whether any relatives may have caused her distress. Divya was attached to the Dharur police station in Vikarabad. After the incident came to light, her family alerted the authorities. A case of suspicious death has been registered, and her body has been shifted to the mortuary for post-mortem examination.
