Chatra: A tractor trolley carrying devotees to the Kauleshwari Temple overturned near Sonbarsa village on the Hunterganj–Sherghati road in Chatra district on Thursday, leaving at least 26 injured. Police said the victims, residents of Uchirma village in Bihar’s Gaya district were on their way for a ‘mundan’ ceremony when the driver lost control causing the vehicle to fall into a roadside ditch. Of the injured, 18 were later referred to Magadh Medical College and Hospital in Gaya. The rest are being treated at Hunterganj community health centre.Hunterganj police station officer in-charge Prabhat Kumar urged people to avoid travelling in tractor trolleys.
