Rajkot: A quarrel between two friends led to the murder of a 20-year-old man in Junagadh early on Monday. The victim, Rashish alias Bhayu Solanki, 20, was allegedly stabbed by his friend, Ronak Chaudhary, around 3.30am at Garbi Chowk in the Kadiyawad area. His sister, Neha Solanki, 22, filed a complaint at Junagadh A Division police station. She said Rashish had left home on Sunday, saying he was going to Botad for light decoration work. The incident came to light when Ronak Chaudhary, along with Mit Solanki, Ravi Solanki and Harshad Solanki, took an injured Rashish to Junagadh Civil Hospital early Monday. Neha was informed and rushed to the hospital. Rashish was later shifted to Rajkot Civil Hospital, where he died on Monday night during treatment. The FIR was registered on Tuesday. Investigating officer Aniruddhsinh Gohil said that on the night of the incident, the group of friends had been sitting together when an argument broke out between Rashish and Ronak. The spat turned into a scuffle, during which Ronak allegedly pulled out a knife from his pocket and stabbed Rashish.
