Patna: Police arrested a 64-year-old man and his associate in connection with the murder of a teenage boy, Prince, whose body was found near a pond on July 12 in Samastipur’s Tajpur area. The accused was identified as Krishna Murari alias Raja, whilst his associate was identified as Mobin. The investigation revealed that the elderly man initially intoxicated the minor with beer before fatally wounding him by cutting his throat with a sharp object. Subsequently, they disposed of the body near a pond. Police investigations revealed that the accused’s granddaughter was a classmate of Prince. The victim allegedly used to stalk the girl, which caused her distress. ASP Sanjay Pandey disclosed the matter and said the police recovered a blood-soaked diary and clothes from the house of the main accused, Raja.
