Patna: A Class VII student was found dead by the roadside in Musrigharari police station area of Samastipur district with visible injuries, including a broken neck, and blood coming out of his mouth, on Monday.Musrigharari station house officer Faizul Ansari said that Mohd Saif (12), a resident of Dhurlakh in the area, was beaten to death. “The family suspects that the murder is related to a land dispute. An investigation is underway on the basis of their statement. All those involved in the incident will be arrested,” he said. The boy’s father Mohd Mustakim, a construction worker, said his son went missing around 5pm on Sunday. “Despite extensive search in nearby villages, we couldn’t find him. This (Monday) morning, we received information that a child’s body was lying on Gangapur road. When we reached the spot, we saw that the body of Saif,” he said.The body was sent to the sadar hospital for postmortem.
