Varanasi: In indiscriminate firing over an old land dispute, one youth was killed, while two others from his family were injured in Banpurwa Jangla village under Aurai police station in Bhadohi district on Tuesday.Bhadohi SP Abhimanyu Manglik said the families of two relatives clashed over an old dispute between them regarding a piece of land in Banpurwa Jangla village, though the matter is pending in a civil court. During the clash, Brajesh Kumar Yadav fired from a licensed revolver.Those shot at were all rushed to hospital, the SP said, adding, Ashish was declared brought dead by doctors, while Akhilesh and Rajnath were out of danger. Aurai police reached the spot and caught three people, including the main accused, and seized his licensed revolver.A heavy police force was deployed in the village, while senior police officers were camping to monitor the situation and the forensic team and field unit were collecting evidence.
